Bake my soda

this has nothing to so with those sugar filled drinks that i have once and a blue moon. So I have been on a quest to find out what people were using back in the day before deorderent came along, so on a visit with my grandpapa, I did a little history research seen he is 90 years of age and in his right mind. Well short story he grow up on a farm in VA with his 9 other siblings, including him was 10 in the 1920's. he siad they couldnt afford it so they used baking soda, can you believe it Baking soda.

Tip: it may work or may not work,so be aware of the pores under your arms, this stuff is explosive.

i've been gone

I'm so sorry i've been gone for a while, had to put somethings together to make my life better and the blog better. I know the year has already started and there not a post but here we go.

One main concern I have been getting this year is, "My scalp is dry, my hair is dry, what do i need." so let me break it down for you, deep conditioning, but how do you know what is best for your hair? there are many deep conditioners for ones hair type. Ask yourself these questions #1what are all the things i do to my hair? (if you can answer that you can find the right deep conditioner)#2 Is this product design for my color treated, relaxed, wash and go, heat styling hair.(make sure you chose one of the item that best describes you) #3 Now your ready, that simple. I recommend Aveda Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring treatment $26.

This once a week deep conditioner will revieve the hair to its natural state, it has a protein called quinoa (KEEN-WA) which smooths the surface and restores the shaft of the hair.

Tip: but be aware this is a natural base product so the moisture you may receive may in some light feel different. I recommand that you do this once a week for one whole month or two, then use regular conditioner.

lion in me,halloween style

My job decided to dress up as kitties and I went almost all the way on the make-up front.I can tell you that meow was the topic of the day/night. But what I discovered when putting my face together was,"brushes" and how they are a must have when doing something of this nature. MAC Cosmetics have been the most wonderful brushes I have found thus far, but i will always take a hand made brush over a manufactured one. A hand made brush has a big difference in the performance, they work as if you fingertips are doing the job. You can find good hand made brushes through (linda Mason)http://www.lindamason.com/. Who also has a wonderful book The ART OF BEAUTY where Linda Mason teaches us which brush is for what product/ facial feature. All in all i had a great day.

Question: how basic is your look? or have you been doing the same look for the past two years? Do you believe there is a better way to apply your look?

Tip: when you pruchase a new make-up brush test that brush with different textures (products), see how it works and what it works well with, you can guess but it easier to see.

matte me, down!

I have tried Matte nail polishes before and have always felt a little dry or just not in the mix of nail care because the shine did not exsist on my fingertips. So after 10yrs I decided to try OPI MATTE Collection($8.50 each) to my surprise I was happy it dried quick and I didn't need a top or base coat.It was quick, easy, fun. I said this would be great for those last minute invites. You can find OPI Matte collection at http://www.ulta.com/. But note these nail polishes are a quick fix and are not meant to last long. OPI recommeds that you don't use base coat, top coat, drying products, or hand lotion. It lowers the sheen. I would love to see a christmas Matte collection.

help!! i need a new lash

please find me a new lash, the 35's from MAC has ran it's coarse. Im looking for Brown lashes only leave me a where to on this posting.

Every lash calls for a different character- hollywood

oil cleans oil

Beautifying Composition oil $21 dollars available at http://www.aveda.com/ helps seal in moisture after bathing or during massage with a rich, aromatic, conditioning body oil for dry skin, hair and scalp. Which contains jojoba oil and a blend of essences, including rosemary and bergamot. You can also use this in ur bath, trust it works wonders. I love multi-purpose products, feels as if I'm getting a bang for my buck.

Question: Did you know oil cleans oil?

So tip 101: if you get eye liner, lip stick, or any creme based product (where oil is the mean ingredient) on a wipeable surface you can place a pea-size or two of oil( baby oil, cooking oil, etc.) down it easliy comes up, you can also use the same oil to clean your lip brushes or creme shadow brushes, but remember oil must be the mean ingredient. Just always think oil cleans oil, then get your soap and water and clean the oil up.
